Disclaimer
The information on this site has been compiled with care and is meant as general explanation. This page states what you can and cannot derive from it, how imagery and copy are handled, and where to turn when something is wrong.

The content of this site
The texts on this site — the explanations about websites, apps, findability, privacy and technology — have been compiled with care and are meant as general information. They describe how things usually work, not how they play out in your specific situation.
No rights can be derived from the content. Rules change, platforms alter their terms and technology moves on; a page that is accurate today may miss a nuance a year from now. Where a date is stated, it marks the moment the text was reviewed.
For decisions with legal, tax or financial consequences this site is no substitute for advice from a professional who knows your situation. That applies in particular to the explanations about GDPR, accessibility rules and app store terms.
If you find an error or an outdated passage, a message to hallo@plaincodelab.com is welcome. Corrections are made once they have been checked.
03
Prices, indications and examples
Where this site speaks about costs, it concerns orders of magnitude to start a conversation with. They are not quotes and not an offer in the legal sense.
What a project actually costs depends on what is built, which integrations are added and how much content is needed. That is set out in a quote, and only that quote binds.
The same holds for examples and screens you see on the site. Imagery showing an app or website is meant to give an idea of what is possible; it is not a depiction of an existing client product unless explicitly stated.
Any company names, platforms or brands mentioned serve as clarification. They imply no collaboration, endorsement or partnership unless stated in so many words.
04
Availability and technology
The aim is a site that always works, but interruptions from maintenance, faults or causes beyond Plaincodelab's control can occur. No rights can be derived from availability.
Parts of this site use three-dimensional imagery. Where that is unsupported, or where someone has limited motion in their system settings, all content remains available as ordinary text. The imagery is an addition, never a condition for using the site.
Plaincodelab is not liable for damage arising from the use or temporary unavailability of this site, except in cases of intent or deliberate recklessness.
05
Links to other sites
This site links in a few places to third-party information, for example to guidelines from search engines or app stores. Those pages do not belong to Plaincodelab and can change at any time.
Plaincodelab bears no responsibility for the content, accuracy or privacy policy of third-party sites. Anyone following such a link falls under the terms of that other party.
Linking to this site is allowed, as long as the context is not misleading and no impression of collaboration or endorsement is created.
06
Copy, imagery and code
The copy, design, imagery and code of this site are the property of Kurdbits unless stated otherwise. Copying, reproducing or publishing is permitted only with prior written consent.
Short quotation with attribution and a link to the page concerned is allowed; reproducing entire pages is not. For the use of copy or images in other publications a message to hallo@plaincodelab.com suffices.
Work made for clients under commission falls under the agreements in the relevant contract, not under this page. What applies there about ownership of code, domain and content is set out in that contract.
If you believe material on this site infringes your rights, report it to hallo@plaincodelab.com; it will be reviewed and removed where necessary.
07
Liability
Plaincodelab makes an effort to keep the information on this site correct and current, but gives no guarantee of completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability for direct or indirect damage arising from the use of the site or from decisions taken on the basis of its content is excluded to the extent the law permits. For commissions, the agreements in the contract apply and, where applicable, the limitation of liability set out in it.
Dutch law applies to this site and to this disclaimer. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the district covering the place of business of Kurdbits, unless the law mandatorily designates another court.
